Brake lathe upgrade increases profitability

Duke Street Autopoint in Rochdale is a highly organised workshop, which has been established for over 12 years.

Duke_Street_Logo.JPGFive years ago they invested in a Pro-Cut brake lathe and in October 2015 upgraded to the latest model PFM 9.1. Since updating their machine it has allowed Duke Street to broaden their customer base considerably, now allowing them to skim brake discs on vehicles such as Bentleys.

Luciano Crisci, Owner of Duke Street, said;

“the upgraded lathe is more efficient and easier to use, particularly with the height adjuster. The 4-wheel trolley makes it far more stable and eliminates the wobble whilst it is cutting. The Pro-Cut brake lathe is a fantastic piece of kit, which the technicians describe as ‘mint’.”
